After the first half, the Rustlers would be down 0-3 suffering from goals scored by the Wolves throughout the first half. The second half would be the Rustlers time to shine, scoring 3 goals to tie the game up.  Giordano Ciccacci scored in the 48th minute while Chase Cal scored in the 73rd and 78th minutes, assisted by Eyad Banjar and Carter Wall.

The player of the game for the Rustlers was Chase Cal.

On Sunday, the Rustlers would come out firing with Chase Cal scoring 2 goals in the opening 7 minutes, both assisted by Elias Calabria. Giordano Ciccacci would score a goal of his own in the 10th minute, assisted by Chase Cal.

The Wolves would counter in the 24th minute with a goal; however, the Rustlers were able to fend them off for the rest of the game resulting in a final score of 3-1.

The player of the game for the Rustlers was Doyle Church.

The Rustler men had a goal of obtaining the 6 of 6 points that were available to them had they pulled off 2 wins, but they will take the 4 points they received for a win and a tie and reset for next weekend.

Head coach Kevin Wagner was impressed with the men's play over the weekend and said: "overall the men's program had a successful weekend." He added that "GPRC played a physical and emotional game," and he hopes his players will "take these elements of how our opposition played and add these pieces to their own game."

The Rustlers will play their final home game of the season this coming weekend on Sunday, October 13 at 2 pm at VLA field against the NAIT Ooks.
