Division Rank: 6th
National Rank: None

Chloe Bartel: Goals (2) Points (5)
Addison Allen: Shots (13)
Lizzie McLeod: Saves (104)
The Skinny:
Women's soccer experienced growing pains in a rebuilding year, but ended with some momentum heading into the break.
The Rustlers fielded a starting lineup that had several rookies, which came through in matchups against the ACAC's top teams While they struggled to score goals, they were able to be in the higher half of the league defensively. Keeper Lizzie McLeod finished third in saves made and sixth in save percentage. Addison Allen, Chloe Bartel and Natalie Pelchat were among the standout first years.
This winter, the team has higher expectations on their performance during the futsal season. They will compete in two regional tournaments, Jan. 16-18 and Feb. 6-8, which will determine if they qualify for the ACAC Championship in March.
Men's Soccer
Team Record: 2-10
Division Rank: 6th
National Rank: None
Individual Leaders:
Josh Malin: Goals (7) Points (15) Shots (27)
Ben Touw: Assists (3)
Orrin Edighoffer: Saves (49)
The Skinny:
As frustrating as this recent season was, there's plenty reason for optimism in Lakeland's men's soccer team.
Prior to their final two games of the year, the Rustlers either led or were within a goal late in the game every single contest they played. They lost four one-goal games, including to the gold medal winning NAIT Ooks. Fourth year striker Josh Malin was named All-Conference again, leading the team with 7 goals and providing constant pressure on opposing defence's. A core of veteran players will return as well.
After a fourth-place finish in futsal last year, the squad hope to rebound from the outdoor season in style. Like the women's team, they have two regional tournaments, Jan. 16-18 and Feb. 6-8.
